In the production of my artwork and in an attempt to appropriate the diverse spaces that exist in the world, I use as methods and procedures to walk, demarcate, collect, classify and reorganize. Through these processes I codify the unfolding of my work, as if, with these movements - at the same time errant and superlatively planned - I wanted to recognize, redefine and interpret the world.
In this way, the materials that emerge from these processes -objectual, narrative, aesthetic, historical, social, geographical, psychological, cultural, etc.- are decontextualized and intermingled according to certain "game rules". Thus, I attempt that this regulated reordering produces a history -literary and objectual-, which are different and even contradictory to the usual way we perceive things.
By interweaving materials, I seek to construct forms that allude to reality, both to its components and to its totality, as well as to the diverse impressions that reality generates. In my work it can be appreciated a combination of techniques and a particular form of relationship, sometimes unexpected and improper, of the materiality that conforms it with the "narrative" that each work produces.
The artist has participated in renowned exhibitions, biennials and art fairs around the world, such as the exhibition “Overflows” in Basel, Switzerland (2023), The project “An Endless curve” by art perspectives at the circle culture gallery, Berlin, Germany (2022) and the biennial "Socle du Monde", Herning, Denmark (2021).
